Day 29! The last solo download from me, and it's some very silly, very niche hair color actions.

Darkest Dungeon is probably one of my favorite games of all time. The Color of Madness DLC is a survival mode where you fight an endless barrage of enemies on a cursed farmstead. Throughout, the color of the sky changes, and the different lighting conditions add buffs or debuffs to your heroes and enemies.

They're also just really pretty, and at one point

azaya suggested they might make good hair colors. So of course I went all in on that.

In the course of working on the above colors, I accidentally made a weird brown shade that

azaya liked, and so I decided to try my hand at doing a full set of """natural""" colors. Like, not actually natural at all, but the alien equivalent thereof. These don't have anything directly to do with The Color of Madness theme, but I think they're in keeping with the spirit of like, weird, not-quite-right colors, so I decided to include them, and named them after some of the unique enemies on the farmstead.

Edit: An anon requested the Gleaming model so I added a link for her! Her skintone was a work in progress when I took the preview pics for the hair so it's a lil different now that it's finished (not as shiny in the face/chest). You can see the changes here.

cosmetical requested some of the other models. I only had the "natural" color action ones still in my BodyShop so links for those have been added as well!

i just LOVE gleaming, miasma, and awakened. i wanted to start using some of your solid unnaturals again with my hairs, and i picked out shock wave and napalm but i'm so tempted to replace them with miasma and awakened lol.

Ooooh these are gorgeous! My favourites have to be Awakened, Gleaming, and Haunting. I still need to buy Darkest Dungeon on Steam. <3

it's on crazy sale for halloween, until nov 1! (would STRONGLY recommend getting the ancestral bundle! it's under $10 rn and has ALL the dlc plus the shieldbreaker who is honestly the most versatile character in the game. i can't imagine playing w/o her.)

I think I might grab it if I can. I do like the aesthetic.

Edit: I just looked and I actually have the Darkest Dungeon in my Steam Library. I...don't even remember buying it. O_O;

lol! that's steam for you. do you have any of the dlc?? i rly love both the expansions, they're so genuinely great and the music in the farmstead goes so hard.

Yeah it looks like I have all of the DLC as well. I'll definitely be playing it once I finish my best friend's art commission. ^.^;

Hello! Horrendously late to the party as usual. These actions are lovely (I rly like Miasma and the "natural" ones as a nice change too). Do you still have any of these models that you would be willing to throw up for download (Miller, Fracture, and Miasma are all calling to me) (or if they're from your face templates then nevermind me but in which case I'd wcif for some of their content instead D:)

i got the don't starve together bug so i haven't played much ts2 lately but i popped into bodyshop to check for ya and it looks like the only models i still have are the ones for the "natural" hair colors. not sure why only them, when it comes to keeping sims my whims are capricious and ever-changing.

azaya assisted in the making of several of the preview sims, i know abberation was one of hers, scarecrow and miller i think are mine and fracture i have no idea lol. i added links for them to the post itself!
